Easter at Grace Church ✝️

Come and worship the risen Savior!

Our Hope Has Not Died, God Is Alive

At Grace Church, we invite you to come celebrate the power and hope of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Join us for a meaningful and inspiring Holy Week filled with worship, reflection, and fellowship. Don't miss our 3-part worship service beginning with Maundy Thursday through Good Friday and culminating with Resurrection Sunday.

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Easter Party

March is officially our candy collection month, and we’re on a mission to gather 3,000 individually wrapped pieces of candy. We need your tasty contributions to help us fill up all those Easter eggs!

Join us on April 6th right after our Sunday afternoon fellowship meal to stuff hundreds of eggs together—it’ll be a blast!

And don’t forget about Grace's Easter Party! Your kids are going to love the games, crafts, snacks, and the egg hunt, of course! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12, from 10 am to 12 pm.

    Maundy Thursday

The Thursday before Easter has come to be known as Maundy Thursday. This service is a time of solemn reflection as we remember the Last Supper that Jesus had with his disciples and His time in the garden of Gethsemane before he was betrayed.

This celebration of the Passover was given by the Lord to the people of God in the days of Moses to recall God's faithfulness to Israel in delivering them from Egypt. When Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, He was revealing Himself as the fulfillment of what was promised in the old covenant.

He himself is the sacrificial Lamb of the New Covenant who has come to take away the sins of the world.

    Good Friday

The Good Friday service is a contemplative service in which we remember the betrayal, arrest, crucifixion, death, and burial of Christ. Christ’s suffering and death were to pay the penalty for the sins of His people.

We are solemn as we remember the great price paid for our sins, yet we are also filled with thanksgiving and praise to God, for through faith in Christ, we are reconciled to God and made sons and daughters of the King.

The service is concluded with a dismissal in silence, in quiet preparation for a joyful celebration of the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

    Easter Sunday

Join us on Resurrection Sunday at 9:15 AM or 11:00 AM!

On Easter we celebrate Christ’s victory over sin and death, demonstrated in his resurrection. Reflect on Peter’s sermon about the resurrection recorded in Acts 2: "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. David said about him: “‘I saw the Lord always before me… my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. …’ “Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day.

But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay. God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. … Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
