Worship Support Ministries

The Chancel Guild is responsible for 'adornment' of the sanctuary, including  paramets, banners, cross, candles, etc., especially during Advent, Lent and Holy Week. The Acolytes are children or youth who volunteer to be responsible for lighting service candles.  For more information, contact Janet Phillips (302)492-8811.

Communion Preparation for our monthly communion services is overseen by a team of volunteers who serve about once every six months. For more information, contact Terri English (302)653-4168.

Flower Arrangements are bought or created/prepared for Sunday worship services and periodically for other special services. For more information, contact Laurel Baird (908) 451-0527.

The  Sound Team runs the sound board for services and special events. Operators need a good ear for music, volume levels, and sound quality, along with an aptitude for technology (knobs, buttons, sliders and computers). Ushers help things flow smoothly on Sundays as they welcome attendees, hand out orders of worship, assist with seating, collect the offering, and more. For more information, contact Bill Courts, (302)674-8276.
