A Birth Announcement for Community Outreach

We are pleased to announce the birth of a Christian Community Development organization for the City of Dover! For several months now, a team of people from Grace Church has been working to develop and launch a non-profit Christian Community Development Organization named “Grace For Dover”.

Grace For Dover’s vision is to seek the peace of the city as it equips, encourages, and empowers the underserved of our city and it’s surrounding areas. Thus Grace For Dover is an umbrella organization, providing shelter to various services that pursues the vision’s ends. Some of the services that are planned address employment, special needs children and teens, financial counseling and management, transitional housing, ESL and other services that help those who are coming to our country.

We would like to ask you to pray for Grace For Dover. Pray for the vision team: Ken and Lisa Williams, Tyler Hogan, Grant Johnson, Rich and Laura Henry, Abby Stewart, Troy Boxton and Kenny Foster. Pray for Grace For Dover and the completion of the non-profit application with the IRS. We don’t want to do anything with out the Lord’s direction and power.

A number of things are already in place for this birth to happen. From by-laws to bank accounts this mercy ministry is close to being born!
